Carnel
Bob
Jack
Every year I donate a portrait prize to the local RSL to raise money for
the Junior Snooker team to travel to National Championships. The idea
is that the RSL committee raffle the prize and I paint a portrait of
whoever wins.
Carnel, Bob and Jack were the winners over the last three years. I forgot to take a final pic of Jack, so the image shown is only about 75% complete.

Mona Lisa monochrome study
I thought it would be a challenge to paint some of the Old masters portrait paintings. This is my first attempt at Mona Lisa. She was a challenge for sure.
About 4 hours work, the backgound is a mix of Rembrandt burnt umber and Spectrum green light. This was gives the canvas an old parchment look. The study was painted with Transparent Red Oxide.
